In Matilda JR., magic runs rampant, imagination inspires, and childhood rebellion changes the world for the better. Roald Dahl’s classic story of a young girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach grown-ups a lesson.

This performance-based program provides an opportunity for theatre enthusiasts to join together to perform on the Garden Theatre stage. Production Classes are directed by theatre professionals and feature sets, costumes, lighting, and sound. Auditions will take place as part of the rehearsal/learning process and to designate parts but all participants will take part in the production. This culminates in two performances on stage for friends and family. Early release letters from school can be provided for students as needed for afternoon rehearsals.
